Ares, God of War, has returned with a vengeance to reclaim his place as the Deus of mankind. He has set in motion a diabolical plot to destroy civilization and bring man back to the dark ages of unending conflict and eternal affliction. 

Constrained by the other Gods, his strength is limited to the proportions of war. To achieve his dream of unlimited power he labored in secret, posing as human to gain control of one of the world's most powerful corporations. With it Ares has influence in every military development company in the world and access to nuclear devices of devastating force. 
 
 

It is with these devices that he plans to bring catastrophe to the world of men. For all over the earth his minions, empowered with Olympian sorcery, have toiled to bury nuclear devices at strategic locations so that when they detonate the worldwide upheavals will destroy the technological world of man forever. The barbarous remains will fall under the spell of an unrivaled Ares, forever to be the pawns to his ruinous desires.

Yet Ares is not alone of the Gods to come to the realms of man. For Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom, of Peace, and of War, vigilant protector of humankind, dwells too upon the earth. Residing hidden in the consciousness of a mortal woman, she divines the evil purposes of Ares and wells forth into physical existence to stop him.

Like Ares, Athena is constrained by limitations set forth by the other Gods. To combat the legions of Ares, she must use temporal, yet still Herculean, means to destroy the mechanisms of Ares and to restore the balances of power. To stop him, Athena, the warrior goddess, inhabits the body of a mortal woman, transforming her into a super heroine. 

Her only ally is a secret agent named Jonathan Drake. The romantic sparks fly between the two of them, as they pit themselves against the massive dark forces of Ares.  The goddess and the secret agent face both earthly weapons and Olympian monsters in an effort to uncover Ares diabolical plot and save the planet from devastation.

If they fail... humankind will never recover.
